This exclusive fashion event held on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at Tod’s Atlanta was one of those eclectic events that no fashionista should have missed out on.

I met up with a dear friend Evelyn Mims at Dolce Italian. She introduced me to Nyssa Green, a renowned Emmy Award winning Makeup & Hair Artist as well as the CEO of her own company, The Green Room Agency.  She hosts an on-air show on 11Alive on Wednesdays called, “WowMeWednesdays,” talking about the latest beauty and fashion trends (So, tune in ladies!)

“This year, it’s all about collaboration and not competition,” Green stated as Evelyn, Nyssa and I put our palms on top of each other.

“Absolutely,” I agreed.

Nyssa’s positive, extroverted personality rubbed off on me like a charm. Nyssa carries herself in such a professional, confident manner that she can’t be missed by anyone.

The entertainment, fashion and music industry can be lucrative and competitive. If everyone worked cohesively and tried to build a mutually beneficial relationship with one another, we can accomplish more than we can ever try to alone.

Teamwork makes dream work.

I believe everyone in this world has a unique talent. If we combine our unique talents, we can bring a plethora of positive values to the world.

After Dolce, Nyssa, Eveyln and I walked over to Tod’s Atlanta at The Shops of Buckhead.

There were approximately 100 stylish, fashion forward guests who showcased their own unique styles as well as Tod’s Band members Michelle Crosland, Joanne Chesler Gross, Mandy Kellogg Rye and special guest & Atlanta Ballet Dancer Coco Mathieson. Not to mention, Actresses Lauren Cohan and Christian Serratos of AMC’s “The Walking Dead” was there!

During this event, Tod’s Atlanta showcased and launched their new Spring Collection 2016 which included Tod’s coveted Wave Bag.

I must say the catering from the French restaurant Le Bilboquet was exceptional. The staff that was catering at the event was very professional and the food and champagne were savory and delicious.

My favorite items at Tod’s Atlanta is DEFINITELY the iconic Gommino Loafers (I mean, come on, it comes in every color you can only imagine).  With that being said, I am definitely going to purchase some nude loafers (Omg, Nude).

The best part of this event was that a percentage of every purchase that has been made was donated to Atlanta Ballet, one of nation’s premier dance companies and the elite company.

If you are interested in purchasing shoes and accessories, you can go to Tod’s this weekend, April 2nd and 3rd to get your spring fashion fix! Remember that a percentage of your purchase will be donated to Atlanta Ballet and the elite company.

Since I have been developing an obsession over the color nude, white and black (help… My whole closet is turning nude), I decided to wear this extremely soft simple white top {Click Here} , black leggings and Steve Madden heels.

Every single time someone gave me a hug or lightly brushed on my shoulder, he or she would ask me where I got my shirt. The fabric is a mix between modal and polyester, which is the same material use to make super soft PJs and bathrobes.

I decided to wear my purple and gold face Michael Kors watch, so I had to wear a blue-ish, purple-ish, white-ish pendant necklace to go along with it.

The nude clutch is a Chanel Inspired bag sold at KnowStyle. It is a very popular item because of the stitching, and there are various pockets inside the bag to keep things organized.

Well, stay tuned for my next blog post, #KShotties.
